On October 18, the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, organized by the Ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and Russia, took place in Tashkent.  Irina Tropina, the Head of Sales of “Spetstyazhavtotrans” Group of companies, visited Uzezpocenter – the main exhibition platform of Uzbekistan.

The Interregional Cooperation Forum has become a unique dialogue and contact platform for ministries, departments and business representatives of the two countries.  Heads of 18 regions of the Russian Federation and 14 regions of Uzbekistan took part in it.

The business mission to support Russian exports and strengthen its position in Uzbekistan pursues the following objectives:

1. Establishing direct contacts between Russian companies and potential partners from Uzbekistan.
2. Achieving agreements on the supply of Russian products and services to Uzbekistan and conclusion of export contracts.
3. Reaching the implementation of infrastructure and cooperation projects.
4. Arranging quality contacts between potential consumers from Uzbekistan and Russian exporters – members of the business mission.
