The winners of the contest “5 stars. Leader in the chemical industry” have been awarded on September 16 at the exhibition “Chemistry-2019”, at the VII Moscow International Chemical Forum

The contest “5 stars. Leader of the chemical industry” was organized by the Russian Chemists Union, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.  The contest is operated by NGES Engineering, Ltd. (part of Spetstyazhavtotrans Group of companies).

List of laureates and winners by category:

• Holdings: SIBUR Holding, KAO Azot, Apatit Holding PhosAgro.
• Large enterprises: AKRON, Cherepovets branch of Apatit, SiburTyumenGaz, SIBUR Tolyatti.
• Medium-sized enterprises: Tomskneftekhim, Pigment, Tikkurila, SIBUR-Neftekhim, POLIEF.
• Small enterprises: RusVinyl, METAKLEY, Jotun Paints.

The awards in the nomination “Best Implemented Project of the Year” were received by Lirsot and Pigment.

The best implemented project of the year in the social sphere was the “Interactive and Educational Center Green Planet of Apatit Cherepovets, PhosAgro-Cherepovets”.

In addition, this year a nomination “People of Industry” was introduced, the winners of which were Nikolai Pavlovich Utrobin (Director for Strategic Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PIGMENT PJSC) and Gennady Ionovich Agafonov (PIGMENT Holding Company).
