On November 11, 2021, specialists of “OKB Spetstyazhproekt” delivered and unloaded 630 tons of equipment for “Shchekinoazot” at a temporary berthing facility in the village of Bunyrevo. The equipment is intended for the construction of the Ammonia and carbamide complex.

The total weight of the equipment is 630 tons. Cargo dimensions:

  • Column for ammonia synthesis: weight – 270 t, length – 19.5 m, width – 4.5 m, height – 4.2 m;
  • Pool-type reactor: weight – 360 t, length – 31 m, width – 5.7 m, height – 5.4 m;

 

On October 16, these 2 units of large-tonnage equipment were reloaded onto a barge specially equipped and prepared for this cargo. Further, the equipment continued to move on a barge-towing train.

The transportation of cargoes involved sea, river and road transport. The vessel with the equipment arrived to St. Petersburg from the ports of Italy and Belgium. In the port of Bronka it was reloaded onto a barge specially equipped and prepared for this cargo. Further, the equipment continued to move on a barge-towing train. The cargoes went along the Neva River, Ladoga and Onega lakes, the Sheksna, Volga, Moscow, Oka rivers. The river route exceeded 1.5 thousand kilometers and took more than a month.
