The group of companies ‘Spetstyazhavtotrans’ was assigned an honorable mission to deliver a restored ‘legend’ – IL-2 – to the International Aviation and Space Salon «MAKS-2017» after the plane has been restored

It took two trawls to transport the four-ton plane: one trawl delivered the wings; the second one carried the fuselage. IL-2’s weeklong itinerary to the salon in Zhukovsky included the towns of Novosibirsk, Omsk, Petropalovsk, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Penza, Ryazan and the Moscow Region. At the appointed time, the Legend reached its final destination, where it took off in the skies, to the delight of the audience.
