Specialists of OKB Spetstyazhproekt delivered 2 sets of overhead cranes to the construction site of Kursk NPP-2.
In total, 66 cargoes were delivered, including 4 oversized girders of overhead cranes. The equipment is intended for the turbine hall of the Kursk NPP-2.

The total weight of the structures is 368.6 tons.
Multimodal transportation included the following stages: from a plant in China by road to the port, then the equipment was delivered by sea vessel in St. Petersburg and the final stage – from the port in St. Petersburg, the cargoes traveled 1,300 km by road to the construction site of Kursk NPP-2.
“The complexity of transportation lies in the fact that the crane girders are long and a very large radius is required for a road train with such a load to make turns, which complicates the choice of the route,” says Andrey Ovdienko, the head of the delivery project.
