The group of companies ‘Spetstyazhavtotrans’ carries out a project on delivering 8 steam generators “ПГВ-1000» to Saint Petersburg. When delivered, the cargo will leave Russia’s ‘Northern Capital’ for the atomic station “Belene” in Bulgaria.

July, the 12^th. Spetstyazhavtotrans’s road train, carrying the WWII war-plane, makes a stop in Samara. Here, in Samara, the so-called ‘flying tank’ was brought back to life. The restoration of a warplane was performed by specialist at “Авиареставрация” company, under the guidance of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin».

At the end of April, the leaders of the companies: Linde – equipment manufacturer, Damen – the world’s largest shipbuilder, CombiLift – logistic company, SC “Spetstyazhavotrans” – engineering company, gathered on Shipyards “Damen” in Nederlandes.

In January 2017, the group of companies “Spetstyazhavtotrans” began work on the installation and assembly of large-scale heavy equipment on the universal nuclear icebreaker “Ural” LLC “Baltiysky Zavod – Shipbuilding” – two propulsion motors with a total mass of 560 tons and two tanks of metal-water protection with a mass of 275 tons for every tank.

In honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day in Spetstyazhavtotrans Group “Big races” with radio-controlled models for transportation of heavy loads were held.

On February 13, 60 years to Alexander Misinev were executed – the technical director of the engineering department of heavy transportations.

Alexander Misinev – retired colonel, who engaged in development of new models of military vehicles for all branches of the armed forces.

Since February 1, 2017 Sergey Tropin is appointed the head of the department “Hoisting-and-transport systems (PK4)” of the Bauman MSTU.

The unity of science and practice will serve as a powerful impulse of development of Spetstyazhavtotrans Group and it will encourage of professional growth of employees.

Railway transportation of the second reactor vessel for the first Belarusian nuclear power plant took 20 days.

Special train consisting of 10 wagons was formed to deliver the reactor vessel. This were wagons “cover”, control frames, car of maintenance and specialized transporter with a unique mounting system. This complex composition, formed in accordance with the stringent requirements of Russian Railways for transportation of outsize heavy cargo. The maximum speed of the composition of 30 km per hour.

“The most difficult part of the loading of the reactor vessel at the railway conveyor – is to make precise positioning with respect to tooling railway conveyor. Doing it in the field in the absence of special cranes had using modular motion system Cometto SBL and lifting tools. This work is painstaking. The cylindrical unit – the case of a nuclear reactor, weight 350 tons, and shifted center of gravity had to be positioned with millimeter precision for further consolidation in the railway conveyor”.

On October 31 the beginning of transportation of the second case of the reactor necessary for replacement in the first power unit of the Belarusian NPP from Volgodonsk to the Ostrovetsky region of the Grodno region on the building site.
